Our Journey to becoming a Family of Five

This journey to becoming a family of five has reignited my passion for sharing wellness knowledge with you.

Research shows that one of the key indicators of a child’s long-term happiness is the quality of their mother’s happiness. And as cliché as it sounds, you can’t pour from an empty cup. Feeling good is the first step toward happiness!

With each new addition to our family, I’ve realised how essential my own well-being is—not just for me, but for my children. I want to look back on this time knowing I did everything in my power to show up every day and be the best mum I could be, and to enjoy as many moments as possible while ensuring my long-term health - so I can be there for them through every stage of life. Once we become mothers, that’s who we are forever.

They say the third baby just slots right into the family, easy-going, and goes with the flow. And I thought after two boys a little girl would be super chilled. Well, not in our case! Our little girl is the wildest of them all full of fire and determination, and as a woman, I’m so proud of her. But to parent—WOW, she’s next level! I truly believe this magical little human is here to push me toward my higher self. She’s challenged my sanity at times, but she’s also made me grow in so many ways, and she’s the perfect piece of our family puzzle.

Being pregnant with her was the sickest I’ve ever been, and postpartum with a high-needs, low-sleep-needs baby was another level of challenge - especially with two other children to take care of. But I believe it was all meant to create an unbreakable bond between us and to push my wellness knowledge to the next level. I’ve had to learn how to thrive in these challenges and come out feeling better than ever! 

During this time, I also became a certified health coach, moved to the beach, built our dream home, and watched our eldest start school! Each of these milestones, along with navigating postpartum for the third time, has added layers to our already full life. So perhaps that is why adding one more has felt like adding 10!

Despite the craziness, I pinch myself daily because I truly am living the life I've always dreamed of. This journey, though rewarding, has come with its own set of challenges and hurdles, especially building a house with a newborn! I've leaned heavily on the skills I've accumulated in the wellness industry to develop strategies for managing these challenges and the overwhelm that often accompanies a modern, fulfilling life.

Without prioritising my own wellness throughout this time it would have been a wildly different experience and a lot more challenging. Not that we are starting to come out the other side and after riding the hights and low of motherhood I can now honestly say this is the best I’ve ever felt and I am truly living my dream life. 

To take care of my well-being, I’ve become incredibly efficient at fitting my health and wellness needs into smaller windows of time, and I’ve become a biohacking ninja to ensure I can feel my best. I can’t wait to share all my new tips, tricks, and knowledge with you to support you in facing any wellness challenges you might be experiencing, helping you become the healthiest version of yourself with the least amount of mental load and time!

My purpose, alongside caring for my family, is to share the knowledge I’ve accumulated along the way to support other women with their wellness so they too can move through challenges, feel the best they possibly can, and to create their own dream lives. 

That’s why I’m back—to share all the science, biohacks, and wellness tips to help you feel your absolute best so you can enjoy the beautiful chaos that is life with small children!
