Mountain Pose (tadasana) - The Importance of Standing Still

Tadasana is an active pose that helps improve posture, balance, and calms the mind. It is the foundational pose for all standing postures and full inversions - headstand and handstands. It’s great for strengthening the legs, abdomen, and glutes and can also help improve posture and reduce back pain.

For an added sense of grounding and calm practice this pose on grass or sand with bare feet.
